Someone Has Survived. Jurassic Park: Survival Takes Us Back To Isla Nublar

Jurassic Park: Survival

Saber Interactive invites us to return to Isla Nublar and survive the night in Jurassic Park: Survival – coming to PS5, Xbox Series X and S, and PC soon

Life finds a way. The iconic words of Ian Malcolm are synonymous in the Jurassic Park franchise – and truth is often stranger than fiction. That adage has never been more accurate than today because Saber Interactive has awakened a sleeping giant. The game developer has dropped the first jaw-dropping trailer for JURASSIC PARK: SURVIVAL – a new action-adventure game.

The awesome-looking new title takes place just one day after the events of the original Jurassic Park and pits a sole survivor against the local wildlife. Players will slip into the boots of protagonist Dr. Maya Joshi, who is forced to survive alone on Isla Nublar using only her wits against hordes of hungry dinosaurs. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Hit play on the trailer below and get ready for the rollercoaster ride 65 million years in the making.

DEVELOPMENTAL HELL

Okay, this game has just shot straight to the top of my wishlist. As a lifelong fan of the Jurassic franchise, I’ve always dreamed of strolling through the park and facing off against the Tyrannosaur. And now, thanks to Saber Interactive, that dream is about to become a reality.

Of course, this isn’t the first time Jurassic Park: Survival has been planned for gamers. The title was originally developed by the now-defunct Savage Entertainment in the early 2000s. The project was backed by Konami and was expected to tie into the events of Jurassic Park 3. But for one reason or another, the game never reached the assembly line and quickly went extinct. But now, the title has been excavated, refreshed, and given a whole new lease of life. Ready to scare the pants off of a new breed of dino enthusiasts. And I, for one, am 100%  here for it.

RELEASE

Just witnessing the Tyrannosaurus Rex rampaging through the park and hunting Dr. Maya Joshi is a delight. One that has reignited the dreams of my inner twelve-year-old. And that alone is enough to have me reaching for the pre-order button. Sadly, we have no idea when that will be. But if life finds a way, I’ll be there to get my copy or go extinct trying.

Jurassic Park: Survival will release on PS5, Xbox Series X and S, and PC sometime soon.
