Halo season 2, The Tiger’s Apprentice, and the return of The Family Stallone are among the highlights in February on Paramount+
It’s a fab February on Paramount+. From season 2 of the brilliant Halo, The premiere of the new Korean drama A Bloody Lucky Day. Animated movie fun with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem and The Tiger’s Apprentice. Nicolas Cage in The Retirement Plan, and the return of The Family Stallone. The mountain has peaks of entertainment for everyone for the second month of 2024.
HALO SEASON 2
Episodes 1 & 2 drop on February 8th. The season contains 8 episodes of 60 minutes each. In Season Two, Master Chief John-117 leads his team of elite Spartans against the alien threat known as the Covenant. In the wake of a shocking event on a desolate planet, John cannot shake the feeling that his war is about to change and risks everything to prove what no one else will believe. That the Covenant are preparing to attack humanity’s greatest stronghold. With the galaxy on the brink, John embarks on a journey to find the key to humankind’s salvation, or its extinction-the Halo.
A BLOODY LUCKY DAY
The box set drops on February 1st. It contains 10 episodes of 60 minutes each. In A Bloody Lucky Day, Oh Tek is a down-on-his-luck taxi driver having an uncharacteristic streak of good fortune when he agrees to drive a mysterious man named Geum Hyuk-Soo to a faraway city in exchange for an exorbitant fare. But when the passenger reveals himself to be a serial killer, confessing to grisly crimes in his past and murdering others on the highway, the taxi driver must play mind games to ensure his lucky streak doesn’t come to a deadly end.
THE TIGER’S APPRENTICE
The film drops on February 3rd. The Tiger’s Apprentice follows Chinese-American teenager Tom Lee, whose life changes forever when he discovers he is part of a long lineage of magical protectors known as the Guardians. With guidance from a mythical tiger named Hu, Tom trains to take on Loo, a force that is as powerful as a guardian but with evil intentions to use magic to destroy humanity. To have a fighting chance against Loo, Tom must reunite all twelve Zodiac animal warriors and master his own newly discovered powers.
QUANTUM LEAP SERIES 2 VOLUME 1
The box set drops on February 29th. It contains 6 episodes of 60 minutes each. It’s been nearly 30 years since Dr Sam Beckett stepped into the Quantum Leap accelerator and vanished. Now, a new team, led by physicist Ben Song, has been assembled to restart the project in hope of understanding the mysteries behind the machine and the man who created it. Everything changes, however, when Ben makes an unauthorised leap into the past, leaving the team behind to solve the mystery of why he did it. At Ben’s side throughout his leaps is Addison, who appears in the form of a hologram only Ben can see and hear.
At the helm of the highly confidential operation is Herbert ‘Magic’ Williams, a no-nonsense career military man who must answer to his bosses who won’t be happy once they learn about the breach of protocol. As Ben leaps from life to life, putting right what once went wrong, it becomes clear that he and the team are on a thrilling journey. However, the team know that if they are going to solve the mystery of Ben’s leap and bring him home, they must act fast or lose him forever.
WORLD’S MOST DANGEROUS PRISONERS
The box set drops on February 13th. It contains 10 episodes of 60 minutes each. 6ft 7 powerhouse, Gary Vinter, has a long history of violence culminating in a frenzied attack on a work colleague whom he stabbed multiple times and then left to die. After serving 10 years in prison Vinter was set free and killed again. This time the victim was someone much closer to home, his estranged wife. He strangled and then stabbed her to death. Back behind bars, Vinter is now one of the most feared men in the English prison. He is a thug for hire, he stabbed a fellow inmate in both eyes, and in a 27-second attack on another, fractured his skull, leaving him with a serious brain injury, and blind in one eye.
TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES: MUTANT MAYHEM
The film drops on February 1st. After years of being sheltered from the human world, the turtle brothers set out to win the hearts of New Yorkers. And be accepted as normal teenagers through heroic acts. Their new friend April O’Neil helps them take on a mysterious crime syndicate. But they soon get in over their heads when an army of mutants is unleashed upon them.
THE RETIREMENT PLAN
The film drops on February 16th. Retirement can be a real killer. Ashley and her young daughter find themselves caught up with the wrong people. With their lives on the line, she turns to the only person who can help. Her estranged father, Matt. Currently a retired beach bum in the Cayman Islands, Matt must leave retirement behind and hone the skills from his former career as a hitman.
THE FAMILY STALLONE SEASON 2
The box set drops on February 22nd. It contains 10 episodes of 60 minutes each. This season, after four decades as one of Los Angeles’ most famous families, the Stallones are leaving Hollywood for good and moving east. With daughters Sophia and Sistine following their dreams in New York City. And Scarlet navigating college and a new love in Miami. Sly and Jen set up roots in Palm Beach as empty nesters. But distance can’t keep this family apart. The season culminates in a life-changing trip to Italy to explore their family history, rekindle love and make a lifetime of memories.
CONTINUED ICONIC SERIES
As well as the new entertainment, there are still episodes of shows that have already premiered on Paramount+. Sexy Beast will entice viewers with episodes 4-8 becoming available with all episodes available on February 29th. Accused will take the stand with episodes 11-15 with the verdict on the series due on February 1st when all episodes will be available. And those lovable Geordies will have episodes 6-9 dropping with the full season of Geordie Shore available on March 5th.
