MTV Push UK & IRE nominees have been eagerly competing this January to secure the public’s vote and reach the number one hotspot. After an intense competition MTV Push UK & IRE today announce the winner of the 2024 campaign – Lovejoy.
UP AND COMING ARTISTS
The Brighton-based indie rock band went head-to-head with nine incredible up-and-coming artists. Including AntsLive, Charlotte Plank, Elmiene, and Henry Moodie. Jazzy, No Guidnce, Only The Poets. Strandz and The Last Dinner Party. The spectacular lineup selected by MTV officials, all went head-to-head as fans. And the MTV audience lobbied in their thousands to support their favourite artists. Still, it was Lovejoy’s dedicated fanbase that gave them the extra push to become this year’s MTV PUSH UK & IRE winners. Henry Moodie and Only The Poets followed.
ONE BILLION GLOBAL STREAMS
Lovejoy who kicked off the year crossing 1B global streams and announcing an appearance on the 2024 Coachella stage seem set to be the ones to watch. Not only did they achieve 73% of the vote, but they are also the new record holders for the most votes in the competition’s history with an astonishing 96K+ likes on Instagram and are the runaway winners of MTV Push UK and IRE 2024.
