Will Ferrell and Reese Witherspoon star in Prime Video’s new comedy You’re Cordially Invited, streaming in January 2025.
In the last few hours, Prime Video has revealed the first trailer for “THE RINGS OF POWER” Season 2 and announced a wealth of new content for the platform. The significant announcements include a release date for the highly anticipated “FEDERER: THE FINAL DAYS” and a sequel to Jake Gyllenhaal’s “ROADHOUSE” remake. A live-action “TOMB RAIDER” series is in the works, with Phoebe Waller-Bridge penning the screenplay.
The big reveals don’t end there. The streamer has shared our first look at the R-rated comedy film “YOU’RE CORDIALLY INVITED.” The outrageous comedy stars Will Ferrell and Reese Witherspoon as wedding planners who find themselves double-booked at their wedding resort. Chaos and disaster quickly follow when both parties agree to share the accommodations. Check out the teaser below.
SYNOPSIS
A woman planning her sister’s perfect wedding and the father of a young bride-to-be find out that they are double booked for their destination wedding at a remote resort on an island off the Georgia coast. When both parties decide to share the small venue, chaos ensues and disaster awaits.

In addition to Ferrell and Witherspoon, the film stars Geraldine Viswanathan, Meredith Hagner, Jimmy Tatro, Stony Blyden, Leanne Morgan, and Rory Scovel. Keyla Monterroso Mejia, Ramona Young, Jack McBrayer, and Celia Weston round out the impressive cast list.
This movie looks hilarious and will kickstart 2025 in the best way possible. With so many festive films dominating our watchlist in the winter months, it’s refreshing to see an R-rated comedy waiting in the wings.
