The final season of Yellowstone has started production ahead of a return in November. Catch up on Paramount+ now.
The final season of the hit show Yellowstone has started production. A new spinoff series will be coming, featuring Matthew McConaughey will be coming to screens sometime in the future. And it could possibly feature some of the cast from the main series (those who survive the finale!). But for now, the main series, starring Kevin Costner is heading for the sunset. The reasons for the series ending have been widely reported, but we still don’t know if Costner will make an appearance or if his character, John Dutton, will be killed off off-screen. Costner does have a new series hitting Paramount+ shortly named Yellowstone: One-Fifty but this is a documentary series about the national park.
THE ANNOUNCEMENT
Paramount today announced that Yellowstone, the global hit show, has started production. Produced by MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios, the megahit series is currently filming in Montana. As previously announced, the series is slated to return in November.
THE STORY
Yellowstone chronicles the Dutton family who controls the largest contiguous cattle ranch in the United States. Amid shifting alliances, unsolved murders, and open wounds. And hard-earned respect – the ranch is in constant conflict with those it borders – an expanding town. An Indian reservation, and America’s first national park.
BEHIND THE SCENES
Taylor Sheridan, an Oscar®-nominated screenwriter known for “Wind River,” “Hell or High Water,” and “Sicario,” co-created “Yellowstone” in collaboration with John Linson. The series has executive producers such as John Linson, Art Linson, and Taylor Sheridan, along with notable figures including Kevin Costner, David C. Glasser, Bob Yari, Stephen Kay, Michael Friedman, Christina Voros, and Keith Cox. Paramount Global Content Distribution is responsible for disseminating the series.
