Lorenzo di Bonaventura discusses the difference between live-action and animation-producing in an interview for Transformers One.

Heading into cinemas after escaping from Cybertron on October 11th is the animated movie Transformers One. This new animated version of the classic property features the voices of Chris Hemsworth. Brian Tyree Henry and Scarlett Johansson amongst others. The film tells the backstory of Optimus Prime and Megatron. The film is a wonderful animated tale about the origins of our favourite transforming heroes and villains (Read our review here.)

Producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura has spoken about the difference between producing live-action and animated versions of the classic characters. Watch the video below:

SYNOPSIS

Transformers One narrates the previously untold origin story of Optimus Prime and Megatron. Known as archenemies, they were once close friends, akin to brothers, whose actions forever altered the destiny of Cybertron. In the first-ever fully CG-animated Transformers movie, TRANSFORMERS ONE features a star-studded voice cast, including Chris Hemsworth, Brian Tyree Henry, Scarlett Johansson, Keegan-Michael Key, Steve Buscemi, with Laurence Fishburne, and Jon Hamm.
