You thought losing your luggage was the worst thing that could happen at the airport? Taron Egerton begs to differ. The Rocketman and Kingsman star is taking on his next assignment. Carry-On. In the new thriller, Egerton plays Ethan Kopek. A TSA agent who’s blackmailed by a mysterious traveller, inducing perhaps the most airport anxiety ever. The official trailer has checked itself in online.

Carry-On is directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, who’s no stranger to airplane danger. He previously directed the Liam Neeson action flick Non-Stop. The film marks the first collaboration between Netflix and Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Partners. A partnership that was announced in 2021.

PREMISE

Written by T.J. Fixman (the Ratchet & Clank video games) and Michael Green (Logan, Blade Runner 2049). Carry-On follows a young TSA agent as he fights to outsmart a mysterious traveller who blackmails him into letting a dangerous package slip onto a Christmas Eve flight.
