Five Nights At Freddy’s 2 | Are You Ready To Spend Some More Time With The Murderous Animatronic Mascots?

Freddy And Friends Returns This December In The Horror Sequel Five Nights At Freddy's 2

Josh Hutcherson, Elizabeth Lail, Piper Rubio, and Matthew Lillard reprise their roles in the Blumhouse sequel Five Nights At Freddy’s 2. Get a first look here.

Are you ready to spend another Five Nights At Freddy’s? You need to be. After the success of the first film, a sequel was always on the cards. Hold onto yourselves this Christmas for Five Nights At Freddy’s 2. Emma Tammi directs the sequel from a screenplay written by Scott Cawthon. It is based on the second game of the long-running video game franchise. Josh Hutcherson, Elizabeth Lail, Piper Rubio, and Matthew Lillard all reprise their roles from the first film, with Wayne Knight, Mckenna Grace, and Teo Briones joining the cast. With the film set for release on December 5th, the first looks at what lies in store are beginning to emerge. An official teaser for the film has been revealed at CinemaCon in Las Vegas. Let’s take a look.

THE PLOT

Anyone can survive five nights. This time, there will be no second chances.

Not much is known about the plotline of the sequel. But if the second game is anything to go by, it will once again see our heroes defending themselves against Freddy and the rest of the murderous animatronic mascots. The first film, although containing some scenes that had us jumping, wasn’t that scary. It was, in my opinion, held back by the restrictive PG-13 rating. It is almost inevitable that this second film will also gain the same rating. But we can never tell. Perhaps we may yet get an R-rated version of the film. But with the knowledge that a third film is in the offing, I seriously doubt we will.

RELEASED IMAGES

To go alongside the teaser trailer, three images have also been revealed, which can be seen below:
