“So @johncena showed everyone just a little sneak peek of the full Peacemaker trailer last night. Can’t wait to share the full thing with you all this Friday.”
But if that isn’t enough to have you slipping into your superhero gear, DC Studios supremo James Gunn has shared the first poster for the new season. The glossy one-sheet features John Cena’s reluctant hero going head to head with his beloved mascot, Eagly. Check out the new poster below.
James Gunn wrote and produced Peacemaker, which stars John Cena, Steve Agee, Danielle Brooks, Jennifer Holland, and Freddie Stroma. Season 2 will also feature Frank Grillo, Tim Meadows, Sol Rodriguez, and David Denman.

Unfortunately, this footage and the new poster serve only as an appetizer for the main event: the first teaser trailer, which will arrive tomorrow. But judging by the first footage, Peacemaker Season 2 looks like a shoo-in to keep DC Studios’ momentum going in the aftermath of James Gunn’s Superman.
Thankfully, we won’t have to wait too long to enjoy Peacemaker’s latest adventures. As you can see by the poster, Peacemaker Season 2 is set to premiere on MAX on August 21. So mark the date in your diary, and get ready for some hilarious DC hijinks.
Be sure to check back tomorrow for our first look at the teaser trailer. You’ll never miss a thing with Future of the Force.
