THE FIRST TWO EPISODES
The first two episodes of this season premiere this Friday, May 9. One additional episode will premiere weekly until the July 4, 2025, finale. Premiering this week:
Episode 1 – Gears, Fears, and Tears
As departure day approaches, Ewan resurrects his old California police bike while Charley brings a 1970s rust heap back from the dead.
Episode 2 – Route Canal
Fresh off the ferry, the guys travel through the Netherlands and Germany to visit Charley’s mom’s hometown before heading to the Danish islands.

“Long Way Home” is the latest instalment of the road trip docuseries starring Ewan McGregor (“Star Wars,” “Fargo”) and his best friend, British television personality Charley Boorman. The “Long Way” franchise came to Apple TV+ in 2020 with “Long Way Up,” where the duo travelled from Argentina through South and Central America to Los Angeles. This was a follow-up to “Long Way Round” (2004; London to NYC through Alaska). And “Long Way Down” (2007; Scotland through 18 countries ending in Cape Town, South Africa). All seasons are available to stream on Apple TV+.
