RELEASE

Okay, I’m sold. I was blown away by the brilliance of Barbarian back in 2022. The film was a welcome horror that took the tropes of the genre and poked fun at them. All the while delivering a compelling edge-of-your-seat experience and nailing a biting narrative that hit the mark. In our review, Carl Roberts said: “Despite being formulaic, by the numbers, and cliched, Barbarian is an enjoyable little chiller that does exactly what it needs to do. It won’t win any awards for originality, but it fits well within the horror genre. It also presents us with a two-part story that we would never expect. We cut off from one story, and go into the next before they converge. Although it distracts us, it works. By the time the end credits roll, we know we have been on a rollercoaster of horror.” Read his full review here.

Weapons will be released in the UK on August 8, 2025, by Warner Bros. Pictures.
