Look up, DC fans, because James Gunn’s Superman is swooping in from Metropolis with a new multi-character Chinese poster!
The Superman world tour is well underway, with around 30 minutes of exclusive footage shown to those lucky enough to be in attendance at various events around the world. Director James Gunn and stars David Corenswet and Rachel Brosnahan are touring the globe and showcasing 30 minutes of footage from the film. The buzz afterwards has been extremely positive, with almost every fan hailing the film as a triumph.
But that doesn’t mean fans around the world aren’t being rewarded with something to write home about. Last week in Manila, James Gunn revealed a sensational new retro poster for the film. The poster featured David Corenswet’s new Man of Steel in the style of the original theatrical one-sheet for Richard Donner’s Superman: The Movie. This week, however, as the tour bus rolls into China, Gunn has released an all-new multi-character theatrical poster, and it is glorious! Check it out below.
What a fantastic poster! DC’s design team has done a bang-up job here, creating a perfect appetizer for fans to enjoy before the main event. And, let’s be honest: any DC poster featuring the Man of Steel is always top-tier awesomeness. Additionally, we also have a textless version available, so scroll down and save it for your smartphone’s wallpaper. You’re welcome!
THE MAN OF STEEL RETURNS
James Gunn’s impressive cast for the film features David Corenswet as Clark Kent/Superman and Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane. Nicholas Hoult will take on the role of Lex Luthor. They will be joined by Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner/Green Lantern and Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific. Also joining them are Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl and Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho.
