Netflix announces the final cast for Pride And Prejudice and reveals a first look glimpse as production begins.
Production is now underway on Pride and Prejudice in the UK. Written by Dolly Alderton (Everything I Know About Love) and directed by Euros Lyn (Heartstopper), the series will be a faithful, classic adaptation of the novel.
Rufus Sewell will star as the beloved Mr Bennet. The Bennet sisterhood will feature Freya Mavor as Jane Bennet alongside Heartstopper alumnus Rhea Norwood as Lydia and newcomers Hollie Avery and Hopey Parish in their debut roles of Kitty and Mary. Louis Partridge will take on Mr Darcy’s nemesis, Mr Wickham, with Jamie Demetriou turning his hand to the pompous Mr Collins and Fiona Shaw as the fearsome Lady Catherine de Bourg.

Hopey Parish will make her screen debut as Mary Bennet. Hopey Parish trained at the Manchester School of Acting and only just graduated. Her most recent final production was playing Rosalind in As You Like It.
Hollie Avery will make her screen debut as Kitty Bennet. Hollie Avery graduated from LAMDA in 2024 after studying German and English Literature at the University of Edinburgh, graduating in 2023.
