Is Emma Stone an alien? Not really, of course, but in her latest movie, could she be an extraterrestrial aiming to destroy the Earth? That’s the premise of director Yorgos Lanthimos’ latest film, Bugonia. The film is an English-language remake of the 2003 South Korean film Save the Green Planet!. Joining the Oscar-winning actress in the film are Jesse Plemons, Aidan Delbis, Stavros Halkias and Alicia Silverstone. The film focuses on two young men (Plemons and Delbis) who kidnap a powerful CEO (Stone), suspecting that she is secretly an alien who wants to destroy Earth. The science fiction black comedy is adapted and written by Will Tracy from the original screenplay by Jang Joon-hwan. The new trailer for the movie has arrived on Earth today.
