The Iris Affair

When enigmatic genius Iris Nixon (Niamh Algar) cracks a string of complex online puzzles, she’s led to a piazza in Florence. There, she meets charismatic entrepreneur Cameron Beck (Tom Hollander). He invites her to work for him to unlock a powerful and top-secret technology. Her curiosity piqued, she accepts. However, when Iris discovers its dangerous potential, she steals the journal containing the device’s activation sequence—and vanishes. What follows is a relentless pursuit from a remote cabin in Sardinia through the bustling streets of Rome. Cameron races to find Iris. It is a high-stakes game where trust is dangerous. Meanwhile, failure could be catastrophic.

IT: Welcome to Derry

Set in the world of Stephen King’s “IT” universe, IT: Welcome to Derry expands the vision established by filmmaker Andy Muschietti. This vision was part of his two-part feature film adaptation. These were released in 2017 and 2019.

The Essex Murders: Who Killed Goldfinger?

On June 24, 2015, John “Goldfinger” Palmer, one of Britain’s most notorious criminals, was found dead in his garden in Essex. Although police initially thought he had died of natural causes, they later determined that the case was being treated as a professional hit. Twenty-eight years earlier, Palmer faced trial for his involvement in the infamous Brink’s-Mat robbery but was acquitted. He amassed a fortune so big that at one point, he was ranked alongside the Queen in the Sunday Times Rich List. However, he was finally jailed for timeshare fraud in 2001.

As the 10th anniversary of his unsolved murder approaches, this new series re-examines his life and death, featuring exclusive testimony from some of Palmer’s closest associates and family members, speaking for the first time. Private investigations firm TMEye – fresh from reinvestigating the Essex Boys murder case, which assisted in launching the CCRC to review the convictions – will lead viewers on a hunt spanning multiple countries.

BEST OF SKY ON DEMAND

Sky Cinema Halloween – A Monologue by Vincent Price

Darkness falls across the land;
The midnight hour is close at hand;
The screen ignites with fear and flame;
On Sky Cinema, none leave the same.
From Nosferatu’s ghastly glare;
To Annabelle, her lifeless stare…;
A crimson balloon floats down the hall;
IT is waiting, teeth and all.
Heart Eyes watches, sweet yet sly;
But love like this will make you die;
And Smile 2, oh, grin with dread…;
For once it starts, you’re surely dead.
On Sky Cinema, the terror’s true;
A haunted feast prepared for you;
So before the inevitable fade to black;
Remember, the horror watches back!

Halloween on Sky Kids – Spooky Fun for Boils and Ghouls

I’ll level with you, resurrecting Vincent Price for that Sky Cinema Halloween monologue was not cheap. But we had just enough budget left over to bring back some old friends this spooky season, with Pip and Posey’s Spooktacular Party and Happy Town. Pumpkin Party premieres on Sky Kids. And over on Sky Cinema, we’ll see the very welcome return of our favourite green ogre in Shrek Forever After. As well as some fiendish family-friendly Halloween fun in both Goosebumps and Goosebumps 2. So for ghostly goings on this October, who you gonna call? (Vincent Price, apparently.)
