Paramount+ has announced that the SHOWTIME original series DEXTER: RESURRECTION has been greenlit for season two, with the writers’ room now open. From Emmy-nominated showrunner and executive producer Clyde Phillips, the series stars SAG and Golden Globe winner Michael C. Hall (DEXTER, Six Feet Under) in the titular role of Dexter Morgan.

The debut season of DEXTER: RESURRECTION was a continuation of DEXTER: NEW BLOOD, following the reunion of Dexter Morgan (Hall) and Harrison Morgan (Jack Alcott) as father and son navigated their own darkness in the city that never sleeps.
DEXTER: RESURRECTION season one was executive produced by Emmy nominee Clyde Phillips (DEXTER, DEXTER: ORIGINAL SIN, NURSE JACKIE), who also served as showrunner, and produced by Paramount Television Studios and Counterpart Studios. Michael C. Hall (DEXTER, Six Feet Under) also served as executive producer along with Scott Reynolds (DEXTER, Jessica Jones), Tony Hernandez (Emily in Paris), Lilly Burns (Russian Doll) and Marcos Siega (DEXTER: NEW BLOOD).
