THE UK TOP TEN

In a surprise, there are no new entries into this week’s chart. However, we do have two re-entries into the positions. We also have a new number one title. What could it be? Time to travel to a deserted research island, as we find out.

(1) JURASSIC WORLD: REBIRTH

The dinosaurs are back, this time on top! Jurassic World – Rebirth charges to Number 1 on the Official UK Film Chart this week, climbing from Number 3 to claim the crown for the first time. The thrilling new chapter in the long-running franchise reunites familiar faces with a new generation of heroes as humanity faces the consequences of a world where dinosaurs roam free. Blending heart-stopping action with emotional depth, the film has reignited global excitement for the Jurassic saga.

(2) THE FANTASTIC FOUR: FIRST STEPS

In second place, The Fantastic Four – First Steps makes an astonishing leap, up fifteen places from Number 17. Marvel’s reboot introduces audiences to a fresh, younger version of the iconic superhero team, setting the stage for the next era of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Strong word-of-mouth and spectacular visual effects have helped propel the film into the upper ranks.

(3) DOWNTON ABBEY: THE GRAND FINALE

Downton Abbey – The Grand Finale ascends to Number 3, drawing audiences back into the elegance and drama of the Crawley family one last time. The film has charmed long-time fans with its emotional farewells and stunning period detail.

(4) MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE-THE FINAL RECKONING

After holding the top spot last week, Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning drops to Number 4. The adrenaline-fueled finale of the legendary spy series sees Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) facing his most personal and dangerous mission yet.

Wicked remains steady at Number 5, continuing its enchanting run. The long-awaited adaptation of the Broadway musical dazzles viewers with powerful performances and spectacular musical numbers that have cemented its place as one of the year’s must-see films.

(6) PRACTICAL MAGIC

Magical favourite Practical Magic enjoys a seasonal resurgence at Number 6 as Halloween draws near.

(7) HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON

The live-action remake of How to Train Your Dragon (2025) holds strong at Number 7, continuing to charm families with its breathtaking animation and heartfelt storytelling.

(9) THE BAD GUYS 2

At Number 9, The Bad Guys 2 keeps audiences laughing with its slick animation and fast-paced action.

(10) 28 YEARS LATER

Rounding out the Top 10, 28 Years Later holds steady, with fans praising the long-awaited return to Danny Boyle’s post-apocalyptic world.
