Sky has released the teaser trailer and a new set of images for Under Salt Marsh, a gripping Sky Original crime drama set in the fictional Welsh town of Morfa Halen. The series stars Kelly Reilly (Yellowstone, Pride & Prejudice) as Jackie Ellis. Rafe Spall (Trying, Life of Pi) plays Detective Eric Bull.
PREMISE
Created, written and directed by Claire Oakley (Make Up), the six-part series opens as a once-in-a-generation storm rolls in from the sea. Former detective turned teacher Jackie Ellis (Reilly) makes a shocking discovery. It reopens the wounds of a three-year-old cold case. This case had cost her both her career and her family’s trust.
Forced to reunite with her estranged police partner Eric Bull (Spall), Jackie is drawn back into an investigation. This will shake Morfa Halen to its core. Together, they must confront a community haunted by secrets and fractured by grief. They must do this before the incoming storm washes away the evidence forever.

Claire Oakley created Under Salt Marsh and co-wrote the series along with Jonathan Harbottle (Episodes 3 and 5) and Nikita Lalwani (Episode 4). The lead director is Claire Oakley, with Mary Nighy directing Episodes 3 and 4. Under Salt Marsh is produced by Little Door Productions in association with Sky Studios.
