Benjamin Wallfisch and Sarah Schachner’s sensationally tribal soundtrack to Predator: Badlands is now available to own. Embrace the music and join the hunt!
One of the many triumphs in Dan Trachtenberg’s Predator: Badlands is the wonderfully atmospheric soundtrack by Sarah Schachner and Benjamin Wallfisch. The composers have produced a wonderfully balanced score for this epic new hunt, and the results are spectacular. Although the score would have benefited from a few cues from Alan Silvestri’s Predator blueprint, it stands on its own as a stunning, atmospheric soundtrack.
Wallfisch’s brilliance, coupled with Prey composer Schachner’s wonderfully tribal beats, has produced a score worthy of the franchise. And now, just hours after the film launched in cinemas around the world, the soundtrack is available to own.

REVIEWS
We were fortunate enough to attend the UK premiere of the film, and we had a blast. As a lifelong fan of the Predator franchise, I had high expectations, but I’m pleased to report that it lived up to the hype, earning FOUR STARS from me. However, I did mark the film down for its lack of Alan Silvestri’s iconic theme and for the Disney effect on its tone.
In my review, I said: “Dan Trachtenberg’s Predator Badlands is an epic spectacle that takes us on a deep dive into Yautja mythology. It’s more sci-fi epic than a traditional Predator film, and takes some big swings that don’t always land, especially with its protagonist. But with a glowing performance from Elle Fanning, some epic production value, and its exploration of Yautja mythology, the film is a home run for the director. Despite its bold approach, however, legacy fans may be left disappointed with this outing.” Read my full review here.
RELEASE
Dan Trachtenberg has truly outdone himself with Predator: Badlands. The film is a triumph, and Sarah Schachner and Benjamin Wallfisch’s score is a major part of its success. Although Silvestri’s blueprint is MIA here, the composers have delivered a wonderfully tribal, bombastic score that resonates with the hunt’s DNA. Whether die-hard Predator fans connect with it remains to be seen. But in a movie that delves into Yautja mythology and expands the lore beyond its original, the new spin on the franchise’s soundscape is incredibly refreshing.
At the very least, Ben Wallfisch and Sarah Schachner have produced an excellent addition to the Predator filmography, injecting our playlists with fresh brilliance to keep us entertained until the next hunt begins.
If it bleeds, we can kill it!
