The new featurette for The SpongeBob Movie: Search For SquarePants sees Ice Spice discuss her role. She also talks about her original track for the film, Big Guy.

Ice Spice has debuted her song and music video for the original track “Big Guy,” featured in the upcoming movie, The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants. Furthermore, they have unveiled a new featurette. In the featurette, the singer discusses growing up with SpongeBob SquarePants. She also shares her enthusiasm for making her voice debut in the movie. Let’s hear what she has to say.

ICE SPICE

“Being part of the SpongeBob soundtrack is such a full-circle moment for me. It’s crazy to see my music in a movie that’s been part of so many people’s childhoods, including mine,” says Ice. The GRAMMY-nominated artist also lends her voice to one of the characters in the film, marking her first-ever voice cameo.


“Big Guy” made its global broadcast premiere on MTV Live, MTVU, and across MTV’s global network of channels, as well as on the Paramount Times Square billboards.

SYNOPSIS

SpongeBob and his Bikini Bottom friends set sail in their biggest, all-new, can’t miss cinematic event ever…The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants. Desperate to be a big guy, SpongeBob sets out to prove his bravery to Mr. Krabs by following The Flying Dutchman – a mysterious swashbuckling ghost pirate – on a seafaring comedy- adventure that takes him to the deepest depths of the deep sea, where no Sponge has gone before.

CAST & CREW

Paramount/Nickelodeon has assembled a talented team to bring this film to life. The Executive Producers are Marc Ceccarelli, Vincent Waller, Pete Chiappetta, Anthony Tittanegro, and Andrew Lary. The film is produced by Lisa Stewart, P.G.A., Pam Brady, and Aaron Dem. Derek Drymon directs the movie, which features a screenplay by Pam Brady and Matt Lieberman. The original story is by Marc Ceccarelli, Kaz, and Pam Brady. As always, this new movie is based on the beloved series “SpongeBob SquarePants,” created by Stephen Hillenburg.</p>

Joining Tom Kenny as SpongeBob are Clancy Brown, Rodger Bumpass, Bill Fagerbakke, Carolyn Lawrence, Mr Lawrence, George Lopez, Isis “Ice Spice” Gaston, Arturo Castro, and Sherry Cola. Additionally, Regina Hall and Mark Hamill are involved.

Gary (Tom Kenny), Mr. Krabs (Clancy Brown) and Squidward (Rodger Bumpass) in The Spongebob Movie: Search For Squarepants from Paramount Animation and Nickelodeon.

The SpongeBob Movie: Search For Squarepants will be in cinemas on December 20th from Paramount Pictures.
