THE OFFICIAL UK TOP TEN

But what are this week’s new and returning titles, and what is lounging in the top spot? Grab your broom…oh, you know the rest!
(1) WICKED
Still reigning at Number 1, Wicked maintains its magical hold on the Official Film Chart. The musical blockbuster delves into the origins of Glinda and Elphaba, blending sweeping set pieces, emotional storytelling and powerful musical numbers to reimagine the Land of Oz in vivid detail.
(2) NOBODY 2
Rising two places, Nobody 2 at Number 2, intensifies the action as Hutch Mansell is pulled once again into a dangerous underworld. The sequel expands his story with tightly executed fight sequences, sharp humour and deeper insight into the man behind the mayhem.
(3) THE GRINCH (ANIMATED)
Continuing its festive climb to Number 3, The Grinch (Animated) brings the whimsy and mischief of Dr Seuss’s classic tale to life. Its colourful animation and playful interpretation of the Grinch’s transformation make it a seasonal highlight.
(4) JURASSIC WORLD: REBIRTH
Shifting down one place, Jurassic World – Rebirth at Number 4, pushes the franchise forward with a world where dinosaurs roam alongside humans. New species, bold scientific dilemmas and rescue missions bring fresh urgency to this evolving chapter of the series.
(5) F1: THE MOVIE
In at Number 5, F1 The Movie showcases the speed, precision and tension of world-class racing. With high-octane track action and behind-the-scenes drama, it captures both the glory and the pressure of life in the fast lane.
(6) ONE BATTLE AFTER ANOTHER
Climbing steadily at Number 6, One Battle After Another provides an intimate portrait of a soldier facing both external conflict and internal turmoil. The film builds its narrative on emotional grit and grounded action as its protagonist fights for a sense of purpose.
(7) BRIDGET JONES: MAD ABOUT THE BOY
Jumping back into the upper ranks at Number 7, Bridget Jones – Mad About the Boy follows Bridget into a new era of motherhood, romance and self-discovery. True to form, the film blends witty humour with heartfelt moments as she navigates life’s latest complications.
(8) THE ROSES
This week’s highest new entry sees The Roses jump an impressive 23 places to Number 8 this week. The film tells the story of a layered, character-driven drama centred on family secrets, strained relationships and the possibility of reconciliation. Its performances and intimate storytelling give the film a lasting impact.
