What if that person were an animal, a dog? That’s the interesting promise of the upcoming survival thriller, Heart Of The Beast. The film is coming to cinemas on September 25th. Brad Pitt leads the film, re-teaming with his Fury director, David Ayer. Both co-produce the film alongside Olivia Hamilton and Marty Bowen. J. K Simmons and Anna Lambe also feature in the movie. Just by looking at the trailer, it appears the film could go either way. It could be a triumphant thriller that shows the resilience of the human spirit and the unbreakable bond between man and dog. Or it could end up breaking all our hearts by the climax, by giving us a tragic and heartbreaking ending. Hopefully, it will be an uplifting and spirited movie with a happy ending. THE PREMISE
After a harrowing plane crash, Special Forces officer James Belmont (Brad Pitt) and his combat dog, Odin, find themselves stranded deep in the Alaskan wilderness. Together, they are forced into a brutal fight for survival against the elements. From acclaimed filmmaker David Ayer, Heart of the Beast is an intense adventure thriller that explores the unbreakable bond between a man and his best friend as they face their greatest battle yet.
