Sun, sand, and serious summer shenanigans await with the upcoming Tubi film, Summer’s Last Resort. The film exclusively hits the free streaming service on July 3rd. Written by Emily Andras and directed by Melanie Scrofano, the film stars Sophia Bush, Jerry O’Connell, and Violet McGraw. The newly released trailer, which you can see below, shows us that the film looks to be a laugh riot. It will, at the least, raise a few chuckles along the way through its narrative. ABOUT THE FILM
A high-strung teen’s vacation takes a turn when she’s trapped with her free-spirited mum’s try-hard boyfriend, who also happens to be her vice principal. Determined to end the romance, she hatches a secret breakup plan that spirals into a week of sunburns, sabotage, and unexpected feelings.
SUMMER’S LAST RESORT stars Sophia Bush, Jerry O’Connell, Violet McGraw, Tim Rozon, and Clara Alexandrova. Emily Andras, known for her work on Wynonna Earp and Lost Girl, wrote the film, while Melanie Scrofano, who directed episodes of Heartland and Wynonna Earp, takes the helm. Blue Ice Pictures produced the film, with Lance Samuels and Andras stepping in as executive producers.
Summer’s Last Resort premieres on Tubi on July 3rd.
