The staff will return to work, and the presses will roll once again. As a result, The Paper returns for a second series on Sky and NOW this September.

Extra! Extra! Read all about it! The Paper is set to return for a second season to Sky and streaming service NOW. All episodes will land on 10 September. The returning series will star Domhnall Gleeson, Sabrina Impacciatore, Chelsea Frei, Melvin Gregg, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Tim Key, Ramona Young, Eric Rahill, Duane Shepard Sr., Alex Edelman, and Oscar Nuñez.

New guest stars this season include actors and comedians Jon Lovitz (The Simpsons). Also appearing are Andy Richter (Conan), Lisa Gilroy (Jury Duty), Matt Braunger (Agent Carter), Toks Olagundoye (Family Guy, Beavis and Butt-Head), and Phil Hendrie (The Phil Hendrie Show).

THE PREMISE

The documentary crew that immortalized Dunder Mifflin’s Scranton branch in the Emmy Award-winning series The Office finds a new subject. They discover a historic Midwestern newspaper, and the publisher is trying to revive it. In season two, after sweeping the Ohio Journalism Awards, Ned searches for a journalistic crusade and comes across a local private club, jeopardizing the paper. Meanwhile, he and Mare try to figure out their attraction. Additionally, Esmeralda struggles to find her place. The staff gradually mature as reporters.
