We all remember our school days, and especially our primary school ones. Those days when we learned about the basic things in life, made friendships that made us who we are, and started us on the path of life. But we also remember those who disrupted our classes. We remember those who tormented us and those whom we didn’t want to see on a daily basis. They were called bad apples.

Paramount Pictures has debuted the official trailer for their upcoming comedy thriller, Bad Apples. The film, directed by Jonatan Etzler, will open in cinemas on September 18th. The cast is led by Saoirse Ronan as Maria. She plays a teacher who finds her class of ten-year-olds disrupted by one unruly pupil. Also starring in the film are Jacob Anderson, Rakie Ayola, Robert Emms, Sean Gilder, and Kerry Howard. Let’s see what we can expect from the film.

THE PREMISE

Maria, a dedicated primary school teacher, strives to inspire her class of energetic 10-year-olds. However, one unruly student throws her efforts into chaos. As the child’s behavior spirals out of control, Maria starts making a series of poor decisions, which culminate in her accidentally taking the “bad apple” home and locking them inside. Desperate to rectify her mistake, she struggles to backtrack. Meanwhile, as the rest of her class begins to flourish and parents and staff celebrate the improvements, Maria finds herself tangled in a complicated situation.

Bad Apples opens in UK and US cinemas on September 18th.
