He is always passionate, always fiery, and often outspoken. However, he is never less than entertaining. His managerial career is the stuff of legend. Now, we will learn more about him. Netflix has revealed the trailer for the new limited documentary series, “MOURINHO,” which will launch globally on Netflix from 11th August.
THE PREMISE
No career in football has generated more masterstrokes, headlines, or contradictions. Twenty years on from the night he shocked the sporting world by leading FC Porto to Champions League glory, José Mourinho has gone on to manage some of the biggest clubs on the planet. For example, he coached Chelsea and Inter Milan. In addition, he managed Real Madrid, where he has now returned.
Filmed over two years, ‘MOURINHO’ tells the story of the man who revolutionized what it meant to be a football manager, charting his rise into one of football’s most trophy-laden and outspoken figures – winning league titles in four different countries and lifting the Champions League twice.

ABOUT THE DOCUMENTARY SERIES
The limited documentary series has three episodes in total. It is directed by Joe Pearlman (Lewis Capaldi: How I’m Feeling Now; Robbie Williams; Bros: After The Screaming Stops), and produced by John Battsek (BECKHAM), Miles Coleman (99). Ventureland is the production company behind the documentary series.
Mourinho will launch globally on Netflix on August 11th.
