As if by magic…Mr Benn is back! The 4K and premium collector’s edition of the classic children’s animated TV series is coming this November!
You’re invited to step back in time to enjoy one of the all-time favorite children’s TV shows, MR BENN – with a 4K UHD and Blu-ray premium collector’s edition released on 9th November from Fabulous Films, featuring all 14 episodes, a documentary, and bonus extras. The packaging is stunning and features a standee, a booklet, and a beautiful hardcover book. Additionally, the series has been fully restored from the original 16mm prints. It is now available for the first time in 4K and on Blu-ray.
Written by David McKee, the celebrated creator of storybook favorites Not Now Bernard and Elmer the Patchwork Elephant, and featuring narration by Ray Brooks (Jackanory), MR BENN, first broadcast in 1971 on the BBC, features the titular character visiting a mysterious costume shop. He swaps his suit and bowler hat for various outfits. When he wears these outfits, they transport him back in time for fantastical adventures.

The four-disc Ultimate Collection features all episodes on both 4K UHD and Blu-ray. It comes in a stylish clamshell box with an o-ring and slipcase. Plus, it arrives with an invitation card and a fourteen-panel concertina highlighting all of Mr Benn’s characters. On top of that, you’ll find a Mr Benn standee, an episode guide booklet, and a hardback book titled Mr Benn 123456789 by McKee. In this book, Mr Benn faces an adventure in prison!
