NEW RELEASES

After delighting fans with the landmark debut season of Neagley, you might think Prime Video would finally take its foot off the accelerator. Think again. The streamer has no intention of slowing down, with October delivering another packed slate of fresh entertainment, returning favorites, and highly anticipated new releases.

Kicking things off in style is the impressive-looking new thriller, Kill Jackie. Starring Catherine Zeta-Jones, the series follows a former international drug smuggler who has spent the past two decades living under the radar. But when her carefully constructed cover is blown, and her deadly past comes roaring back, Jackie is forced to rediscover the skills that once made her so dangerous as she fights to stay alive.

Then, on October 7, Stephen King’s Carrie gets a fresh coat of blood. Reimagined for television by legendary horror filmmaker Mike Flanagan, the new series promises to give the iconic story a contemporary makeover while retaining the lethal edge that has terrified audiences for decades. And if that isn’t enough, it’s back to business for Helluva Boss Season 3 – Part One, bringing even more chaotic demonic antics to the streamer.

But perhaps the biggest release of the month is the long-awaited second season of The Terminal List. Chris Pratt’s James Reece is back, and if the first trailer is anything to go by, he’s bringing another truckload of redemption-fuelled chaos with him. Once again inspired by Jack Carr’s bestselling novels, the new season finds the former Navy SEAL commander facing a mysterious conspiracy with potentially devastating consequences. As unknown forces work to reshape the world order, Reece is pulled into another dangerous mission that looks set to push him to his limits.
