STAR TREK: THE ORIGINAL SERIES – “Balance Of Terror”
Widely considered one of the best Star Trek: The Original Series episodes ever, “Balance of Terror” debuted on December 15, 1966.

The episode gave fans their first looks at the Romulans and at Mark Lenard, who portrayed the formidable Romulan Warbird Commander.

The USS Enterprise under the command of Captain James T. Kirk investigates a loss of communication with a line Federation outposts near the Romulan Neutral Zone.
