Founded and managed by Phil Roberts, a lifelong entertainment enthusiast, writer, and dedicated action figure collector, the site launched in September 2016 with one simple mission: to bring fans together and celebrate the things we love.
What started as a passion project has grown into a global playground for entertainment enthusiasts, powered by a team of passionate fans who love nothing more than diving headfirst into the latest movies, TV shows, trailers, books, music, merchandise, events, and all the wonderful craziness that comes with being a fan.
From blockbuster movies and binge-worthy television to the latest collectibles, exclusive events, fan experiences, and those trailers we simply cannot stop watching, we’re here to deliver the news, reviews, opinions, features, and enthusiasm that keep the entertainment universe spinning.

Every great adventure has to start somewhere.
When THE FUTURE OF THE FORCE first launched, our mission was firmly focused on a galaxy far, far away. Star Wars remains a huge part of who we are, but our horizons have expanded considerably since those early days.
Today, we celebrate fandom in all its forms, covering everything from the biggest Hollywood blockbusters and the latest television sensations to streaming exclusives, gaming, collectibles, books, music, trailers, events, and much more.
The Force may have been our starting point, but the wider pop culture universe is now ours to explore!

Our team of Force Users is spread across the globe, from the UK and France to the USA, making THE FUTURE OF THE FORCE a truly international celebration of fandom.
Over the years, our dedicated team members have brought you coverage from some of the biggest and most exciting events on the fan calendar, including the BFI London Film Festival, Star Wars Celebration, Dragon Con, London Film & Comic Con, Ratha Con, Motor City Comic Con, and many more.
We’ve maintained a strong presence at major Star Wars and pop culture events around the world, meeting fans, speaking with creators, discovering new collectibles, experiencing the latest entertainment, and sharing it all with our readers.
