Michael Waldron is staying under the Disney umbrella by signing on to script Loki season 2, the Doctor Strange sequel, and Feige’s Star Wars movie!
Michael Waldron, the creator of the upcoming Disney Plus series Loki, has reportedly signed on to script Kevin Feige’s new Star Wars movie. Based on their strong working relationship in the Marvel Universe, Feige has called upon Waldron to help him bring his Star Wars project home.

Loki
In addition to joining the Star Wars universe, Waldron has also been tasked with crafting the second season of Loki. His work on the debut season appears to have gone down well at Marvel, and a second season appears to be getting the fast-track treatment. That’s after completing his writing duties on Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness. Because of the growing relationship, it would seem Waldron has a bright future under Disney’s umbrella.

Star Wars
This the first bit of news we’ve heard about Feige’s Star Wars film for some time. Lucasfilm recently announced several new projects at Disney’s Investor Day, including Patty Jenkins’ Rogue Squadron, however, Feige’s movie was not among them.

But from the sounds of things, Feige’s movie is starting to come together. Hopefully, we’ll hear more in the coming weeks, but one thing is for certain. It’s an exciting time to be a Star Wars fan.
