The sensational Star Wars serial will now fight it out with television’s best. However, because the show has become one of the most-watched serials on any streaming platform, surely it’s a shoo-in for glory. And who would bet against it? Firstly, season two of The Mandalorian restored Boba Fett to prominence. Secondly, it delivered a masterful last gasp cameo from Luke Skywalker. And still found time to give Baby Grogu the best possible send-off.
Congratulations to Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, and the wonderful cast and crew. Recognition well-deserved. But the festivities don’t end there. Celebrated Mando composer Ludwig Göransson also has reason to celebrate. In addition to his team-wide nomination for Mando, his sublime score from Christopher Nolan’s Tenet has earned him a nomination for Best Original Score.
Good luck to everyone involved. This is the way!
