Eddie Murphy is back on the beat again with the first trailer for Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F. Premiering in 2024 on Netflix.
Thirty years after Axel Foley last hit the streets of Beverly Hills, next summer, he will be back. Eddie Murphy will be reprising his arguably most famous role in Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F. However, this time, he won’t be hitting the big screen. Instead, his new adventure will premiere on Netflix. But with a supporting cast that brings back Judge Reinhold as Lt. William “Billy” Rosewood, John Ashton as Sgt. John Taggart, Paul Reiser as Det. Jeffrey Friedman, and Bronson Pinchot as Serge, the film could be exactly what the fans have been crying out for.
Newcomers this time around see Taylour Paige as Jane, Axel Foley’s estranged daughter, Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Det. Bobby Abbott, Jane’s ex-boyfriend, and the legendary Kevin Bacon as Captain Grant join the fun. With Jerry Bruckheimer returning as a producer as well as Harold Faltermeyer returning to compose the score after missing out on Beverly Hills Cop III, the signs are looking good for the film. The first trailer for the movie has been released. The heat is on again as we take our first look.
