It is the third month of the year already! The time is flying by once more. But the Paramount+ mountain is ready and prepared for the spring. This March, there is a mountain of new entertainment ready for us to enjoy. New dramas like A Gentleman In Moscow, blockbuster movies like Mission: Impossible-Dead Reckoning and PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie. And new series like Twisted Metal. There are loads to keep us entertained. So, let’s take a look.
A GENTLEMAN IN MOSCOW
The first episode is available on March 29th. There are 8 episodes of 60 minutes each. A Gentleman In Moscow follows Count Alexander Rostov who, in the aftermath of the Russian Revolution, finds that his gilded past places him on the wrong side of history. Spared immediate execution, he is banished by a Soviet tribunal to an attic room in the opulent Hotel Metropol, threatened with death if he ever sets foot outside again. As the years pass and some of the most tumultuous decades in Russian history unfold outside the hotel’s doors, Rostov’s reduced circumstances provide him entry into a much larger world of emotional discovery. As he builds a new life within the walls of the hotel, he discovers the true value of friendship, family and love.
MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE-DEAD RECKONING
The film becomes available on March 27th. Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his IMF team embark on their most dangerous mission yet. To track down a terrifying new weapon that threatens all of humanity before it falls into the wrong hands. With the fate of the world at stake, a deadly race around the globe begins. Confronted by a mysterious, all-powerful enemy, Ethan is forced to consider that nothing can matter more than his mission. Not even the lives of those he cares about most. (Read our review here.)
LITTLE WING
The film becomes available on March 16th. Little Wing follows Kaitlyn, a 13-year-old girl who, reeling from her parents’ divorce and the pending loss of her home, is drawn into the world of pigeon racing. She hopes to solve her family’s financial woes by stealing a valuable bird but instead forms a bond with the owner who cultivates her love of the sport.
MOTORWAY COPS USA
The box set is available from March 18th. It contains 6 episodes of 60 minutes each. Moving state-side, Motorway Cops USA will ride along with the New Jersey cops as they police some of the most dangerous highways in America. New Jersey is ranked the worst place to drive in the US. With almost 40,000 miles of roads, and traffic-related deaths at their highest in 15 years, Motorway Cops USA will turn a spotlight on the state’s worst drivers as well as the offenders causing havoc on its roads. Alongside exclusive access to two New Jersey police departments, the series will feature jaw-dropping real-life dashcam footage of America’s bad drivers.
TWISTED METAL
The box set becomes available on March 21st. It contains 10 episodes of 30 minutes each. Twisted Metal, a half-hour live-action TV series based on the classic PlayStation game series, is a high-octane action comedy, based on an original take by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, and written by Michael Jonathan Smith, about a motor-mouthed outsider offered a chance at a better life, but only if he can successfully deliver a mysterious package across a post-apocalyptic wasteland. With the help of a badass axe-wielding car thief, he’ll face savage marauders driving vehicles of destruction and other dangers of the open road, including a deranged clown who drives an all too familiar ice cream truck.
CELEBRITY EX ON THE BEACH SERIES 3
The first episode becomes available on March 19th. There are 10 episodes of 60 minutes each. It may be freezing in the UK, but it’s about to get a whole lot hotter as nine celebrity singles wash up in Gran Canaria, on the hunt for love while awaiting the fate of their exes. This series brings together a host of larger-than-life personalities all with one thing in common. An ex with a score to settle. Watch the drama unfold as celebrities including Chloe Veitch, Finley Tapp, Joe Garratt and Yasmin Oukhellou, come face to face with their exes. Will old flames reignite, or will it be a stormy reunion?
PAW PATROL: THE MIGHTY MOVIE
The film becomes available on March 29th. The PAW Patrol pups magically gain superpowers after a meteor strikes Adventure City. However, things take a turn for the worse when Humdinger and a mad scientist steal their powers and turn themselves into supervillains. As the team springs into action to save the city, Skye soon learns that even the smallest pup can make the biggest difference. (Read our review here.)
CONTINUED ICONIC SERIES
Also available on the service are some series that have already premiered. Geordie Shore will have the season finale episode available, with all episodes available to stream on March 5th. And Halo Season 2 will have episodes 6-8 becoming available, with all episodes available to stream on March 21st.
