What’s Streaming On Paramount+ In August: Get Ready For New Twisted Metal!

Just in time for the school holidays, there is a mountain of entertainment coming to Paramount+. With top-quality movies like Heart Eyes, September 5, The Hunger Games Franchise, and Rebirth: Home Sweet Home. Reality shows include Dating Naked UK Season 2 and Teen Mom UK Season 12. For the little ones, there is PAW Patrol: Jungle Pups. And for the adults, there is the return of the epic series Twisted Metal for a second season. Plus, there is already a wealth of great movies and TV series to keep the family entertained available on the service. Get set for August with what the entertainment mountain has in store.
DATING NAKED UK
The first two episodes drop on August 29th, followed by two episodes weekly. There are 10 episodes of 60 minutes each. The UK’s most drawer-dropping dating show is back! Guided by host Rylan, ten new singles are ready to shed their inhibitions and their clothes in their search for true love.
TWISTED METAL SEASON 2
The first three episodes drop on August 1st, followed by a weekly drop. There are twelve episodes of 60 minutes each. Following the revelations in the season one finale, John and Quick find themselves entering the deadly Twisted Metal tournament. A sinister demolition derby hosted by a mysterious man known as Calypso. As they try to survive an onslaught of dangerous new foes and familiar faces alike, including the murderous clown Sweet Tooth, things get complicated for John when he reunites with his long-lost sister, the vigilante Dollface.
PAW PATROL: JUNGLE PUPS
The film drops on August 13th. In Jungle Pups, Tracker and Carlos discover a cave that leads to a lush jungle oasis unlike anything they have ever seen before. In this forgotten jungle filled with vegetation and untold treasures, they encounter an amazing variety of unique animals. Including tigers, elephants, rhinos, falcons, snapping turtles and even crocodiles. But danger lurks around every tree, and that’s when Carlos and Tracker call in for some help.
It is up to Ryder and the PAW Patrol pups to step in to save the day! They arrive in awesome, all-new jungle gear and animal-inspired vehicles to take on their biggest jungle rescues and missions yet!
THE HUNGER GAMES FRANCHISE
The first four films drop on August 1st. Every year in the ruins of what was once North America, the Capitol of the nation of Panem forces each of its 12 districts to send a teenage boy and girl to compete to the death in The Hunger Games. 16-year-old Katniss Everdeen volunteers in her younger sister’s place and must rely upon her sharp instincts when she is pitted against highly trained tributes who have prepared their entire lives for this competition. If she is ever to return home to District 12, Katniss must make impossible choices in the arena that weigh survival against humanity and life against love.
SEPTEMBER 5
The film drops on August 7th. During the 1972 Munich Olympics, a hostage crisis pushes legendary TV executive Roone Arledge to thrust an untested sports producer, Geoff Mason, into the spotlight of breaking news coverage. With lives hanging in the balance and the world watching, this pivotal moment, based on a true story, reshaped journalism forever.
HEART EYES
The film drops on August 14th. When the “Heart Eyes Killer” strikes, a pair of co-workers pulling overtime on Valentine’s Day are mistaken for a couple by the elusive couple-hunting killer. Now they must spend the most romantic night of the year running for their lives.
REBIRTH: HOME SWEET HOME
The film drops on August 15th. The story follows Jake, a cop thrust into an alternate reality called “The Hinderance” during a deadly mall shooting. With the help of a mysterious Novice Monk, Jake must race the clock to save his wife, Prang, and stop an evil occultist, Mek, from opening the Gates of Hell.
TEEN MOM UK SEASON 12
The episodes drop weekly starting from August 20th. There are four episodes of 45 minutes each. Teen Mom is back! With all the drama, tears and tension that go with motherhood. Chloe is navigating being a mum of 2 with newborn Rudy. Sassi is on a mission to move forward with dating. Mia is battling with Marliya and her teenage ways. And Amber might have found what she’s been looking for-true love.
CONTINUED ICONIC SERIES
That’s just the top of the mountain. You can also catch the continuation of some of the hit shows that have already been released on the platform. Dexter: Resurrection slays it again as episodes 5-9 become available, with all episodes available to stream on September 5th. Star Trek: Strange New Worlds warps in with episodes 5-8, with all episodes available on September 11th. Sight Unseen will see episodes 8-10 appearing, with all episodes available on August 21st. While Teen Mom: New Generation Season 3 is delivering episodes 5-6, with all episodes available on August 13th.
