Are you ready to once again meet The Crow? You need to be. After several false starts, the remake of the 1994 movie is flying our way on June 7th. Bill Skarsgård takes over the role of Eric Draven/ The Crow from the late Brandon Lee. ‘Lee was tragically killed on the set of the original film due to an accidental shooting when the firearm, intended to discharge a blank round, was not inspected beforehand.’
This new version of the property is the fifth film in the franchise and serves as a reboot. FKA Twigs as also stars as Shelly Webster, Eric’s fiancée, and Isabella Wei as Zadie. The cast also features Danny Huston, Laura Birn, Sami Bouajila, and Jordan Bolger in undisclosed roles. The film is directed by Rupert Sanders from a screenplay by Zach Baylin and Will Schneider. And based on the 1989 limited comic book series of the same name by James O’Barr. They have just revealed the first trailer for the movie. Let’s see what will be flying in.
PREMISE
Eric Draven, a musician, comes back to life to seek revenge on the gang responsible for killing him and his fiancée. He sets out to avenge their deaths while pursued by a compassionate detective.
The Crow will be flying into cinemas on June 7th.
