To celebrate their anniversaries, Paramount Pictures UK is re-releasing three classic movies into cinemas this summer.
Get ready to experience three classic movies from the Paramount Pictures vault this summer. Each movie is celebrating a milestone birthday. One celebrates its thirty-year anniversary. One celebrates its fortieth-year birthday. While the other celebrates a massive fifty-five-year anniversary since its release. So, what are these movies celebrating milestone birthdays this year? Let’s find out.
THREE CLASSIC MOVIES
This Summer, Star Trek: The Search for Spock, Forrest Gump, and The Italian Job will return to the big screen to mark their historic anniversaries. Moviegoers will have the chance to experience all three films in 4K in cinemas across the UK and enjoy these fan favourites once again.
STAR TREK III: THE SEARCH FOR SPOCK
The summer starts with Star Trek: Search for Spock, which celebrates its 40th anniversary and will be screening in UK cinemas from June 14.
FORREST GUMP
This is followed by 90s classic Forrest Gump, marking the film’s 30th anniversary and will be in UK cinemas from July 19.
THE ITALIAN JOB
The summer run ends with the much-loved British movie The Italian Job. Celebrating its 55th anniversary this year and will be in UK cinemas for Bank Holiday weekend from August 23.
