Hot Toys announces new figures for their Star Wars Power of the Darkside exhibition!

As the Star Wars Power of the Dark Side exhibition begins at the end of the week in Hong Kong, Hot Toys has announced additional figures for the event. First is a re-issue of the Stormtrooper from Return of the Jedi and the second figure is a Chrome version of Clone Commander Cody. Both figures will be on sale starting April 27th in Hong Kong. Cody will be limited to 2,500 pieces worldwide. The figures will then go on sale in other markets.

STORMTROOPER

Stormtroopers are elite shock troops fanatically loyal to the Empire and impossible to sway from the Imperial cause. They wear imposing white armor, which offers a wide range of survival equipment and temperature controls to allow the soldiers to survive in almost any environment. Stormtroopers wield blaster rifles and pistols and attack in hordes to overwhelm their enemies.

To celebrate the Hot Toys “Star Wars: The Power of the Dark Side” Exhibition in Hong Kong, and the unveiling of Hot Toys worldwide Star Wars events, today we are excited to present a collectible for devoted fans: the 1/6th scale Stormtrooper™ Collectible Figure, representing one of the most iconic soldiers from the Star Wars saga.

The collectible figure features a highly detailed stormtrooper helmet and armor with great articulations, skillfully applied paint applications, a fabric under-suit, a blaster rifle, and a LED light-up Death Star wall panel environmental backdrop!

COMMANDER CODY (CHROME VERSION)

Clone Commander Cody was a loyal clone trooper serving the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars. Cody was often under the command of General Obi-Wan Kenobi, leading Ghost Squadron, and served with him and Anakin Skywalker at Geonosis, Christophsis and during a nearly disastrous campaign on Cato Neimoidia.

To commemorate the Hot Toys “Star Wars: The Power of the Dark Side” Exhibition begins this weekend in Hong Kong, and the kick-off of Hot Toys worldwide Star Wars events, we are pleased to introduce a new special displayable variant of the 1/6th scale Commander Cody™ collectible figure in silver chrome color as Hot Toys exclusive release with limited quantity of 2,500 only available in select markets.
