Vertigo Releasing has confirmed the release date in the UK and Ireland for the upcoming movie, The Exorcism. The horror film stars Russell Crowe as Anthony Miller, a troubled actor. Ryan Simpkins, Sam Worthington, Chloe Bailey, Adam Goldberg, and David Hyde Pierce also appear. The film, directed by Joshua John Miller and co-written with M. A. Fortin, is set for release in the United States on June 7th, followed by the UK and Ireland on June 21st. The trailer for the film has decided to manifest itself online. SYNOPSIS
Anthony Miller (Crowe), a troubled actor, begins to unravel while shooting a supernatural horror film. His estranged daughter (Simpkins) wonders if he is slipping back into his past addictions or if there is something more sinister at play.
