Starring Daniel MacPherson, Luke Hemsworth, and Russell Crowe, the MMA thriller Beast will be punching its way onto digital platforms. This release is coming this June.
Get ready to step into the octagon! Vertigo Entertainment has officially announced that their upcoming MMA thriller, Beast, will hit all major digital platforms on June 1st.
Directed by Tyler Atkins (Bosch, Rockit), Beast stars Academy Award winner Russell Crowe (Gladiator, A Beautiful Mind), Daniel MacPherson (Foundation, Land of Bad) & Luke Hemsworth (The Witcher, WestWorld). Other stars of the film include Bren Foster, George Burgess, Mojean Aria, Kelly Gale, Amy Shark, and Saphira Moran. Furthermore, the film was co-written by David Frigerio (Land of Bad) & Russell Crowe. This marks Crowe’s second writing credit. Previously, he was credited for Poker Face in 2022.
THE PREMISE
Beast follows ex-con Patton James (Daniel MacPherson), who abandoned his mixed martial arts dream to support his wife, Luciana (Kelly Gale), and daughter. When Patton’s brother Malon suffers a serious injury in a fight to make good on his debts, Patton has to risk everything. Therefore, he must get back in the ring to avenge him. But to reclaim his old glory and succeed in the ONE Championship, Patton must regain the trust of his ace trainer (Russell Crowe). Additionally, he must keep his own family together.

BEAST will be released across all major digital platforms from 1st June.
