The first trailer for the upcoming Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated series reunites us with the heroes in a half shell.
Paramount+ has dropped our first look at the TALES OF THE TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES animated series. Prepare for an action-packed adventure this August as the ninja heroes return in the upcoming streamer release. The latest trailer reunites us with the beloved half-shell heroes in the aftermath of the events of last year’s TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES: MUTANT MAYHEM.
The teaser hints that initially, Leonardo, Michelangelo, Raphael, and Donatello will each embark on separate adventures before coming together to confront a formidable new adversary named Bishop. But before the pizza has time to cool off, check out the trailer below.
CAST & CREATIVES
From Nickelodeon Animation and Point Grey Pictures, Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is executive produced by Chris Yost (The Mandalorian, Thor: Ragnarok) and Alan Wan (Blue Eye Samurai, Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles [2012 Series]). Production is overseen for Nickelodeon by Claudia Spinelli, Senior Vice President of Big Kids Animation, and Nikki Price, Director of Development and Executive in Charge of Production.

RELEASE
As of press time, we still know very little about this new series, but it is expected to be set between the events of Mutant Mayhem and the planned sequel. In the climax of last year’s critically acclaimed movie, The Shredder was lurking in the shadows, ready for his epic showdown with the heroes in a half shell. It’s unclear if the Shred-dude will appear now or in the sequel. Either way, the show looks like a bold and exciting expansion of the TMNT sandbox, and we are here for it 100 percent.
Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles debuts on Paramount+ on August 9th.
