Prepare to embark on an epic adventure as you join new characters from Disney’s Pirates franchise on the Black Pearl. Fortnite x Pirates of the Caribbean has officially arrived!
The hotly anticipated new Fortnite x Pirates of the Caribbean collaboration has emerged from the ocean’s depths. In the upcoming crossover with Disney, four new iconic characters are set to debut in the game. Captain Jack Sparrow, portrayed by Johnny Depp, will take the helm aboard the infamous Black Pearl. With his enigmatic compass in hand, the legendary Captain brings his unique and quirky expertise to the battlefield. Joining him is his treacherous first mate, the notorious Captain Barbossa, armed with cutlasses and muskets ready for action. If that isn’t enough, the Governor’s daughter-turned Pirate, Elizabeth Swann, brings her sharp wit and an equally sharp cutlass to the map.
Rounding out the collection is the foreboding guardian of the underworld, that infamous Captain of the Flying Dutchman Davy Jones. With a miniature version of the Kraken as a back bling, the mutated half-man, half-octopus brings his quest to transport the dead to the underworld to the “Wrecked” battlefield.

The highly anticipated collaboration has been the subject of speculation for quite some time, but the wait is finally over, as the quest for the Black Pearl is making its way to Fortnite on July 19th. In addition, all four new characters will be introduced, each bringing along many impressive emotes, back bling, pickaxes, and wraps. The upcoming collaboration is set to be excellent, with many thrilling new features for players to enjoy.
It’s important to remember that the entire collection has not been unveiled yet, so we can anticipate that the complete range of items will be revealed later. However, based on preliminary information, we can confirm that a comprehensive event pass will be offered, allowing players to acquire fantastic accessories to enhance their Pirates collection to its fullest potential.

Players can upgrade their event pass for 1,000 V-Bucks to instantly unlock Captain Jack, with the option to unlock his additional accessories as they progress through the pass. The remaining three characters are anticipated to be available exclusively in the item store. Some players took advantage of an error after the recent update, which allowed them to purchase Jack Sparrow early. However, Epic Games quickly removed the set from purchase. As of now, the collaboration event pass will officially return on July 19th.
