Hot Toys unveils new figures from Star Wars, DC Comics, Marvel and more at ACGHK.
Earlier this week, Hot Toys has announced its Summer showcase ahead of the big event at ACGHK. Fans who have early access at the Hong Kong event have been able to take a peak at some upcoming figures. Collectors are in for a treat! As usual, Hot Toys unveils lots of prototypes during these events but not all of them end up being released. So, stay tuned!
The 25th anniversary of The Phantom Menace is not over yet. Indeed, we have our very first look at the Jar Jar Binks figure from Hot Toys. This one is likely to get released as it’s an anniversary figure. Moreover, a new Chewbacca figure is also on display. It is based on The Empire Strikes Back. Collectors have been asking for an improved Chewie figure for a long time and this may be the one. For fans of The Clone Wars, we got you covered with a new addition to the 501st legion – the fan favourite clone Hardcase. The holotable seen in the promotional pictures of Ahsoka (Padawan) is there but Hot Toys hasn’t provided any details on whether it could be an accessory with Hardcase or just a simple accessory.
As for DC Comics, Hot Toys continues to revisit the 90s with a new Batman figure from Batman Returns and Batman and Robin from the infamous film.
Moreover, Kidpool from Deadpool and Wolverine who was revealed yesterday is on display. He is joined by Ladypool. HONO STUDIO is present too with a Thor figure based from the comics.
It’s not just Star Wars, Marvel and DC Comics that are on display this year at ACGHK. Hot Toys has brought prototypes of a new Predator figure and T-800 from Terminator 2.
