D23 Expo | The First Trailer For Percy Jackson Season 2 Emerges From The Sea Of Monsters

The Quest for the Master Bolt Begins in the Trailer for Percy Jackson and the Olympians

Disney has unveiled our first look at Percy Jackson Season 2, The Sea Of Monsters – streaming on Disney+ in 2025

So far, Disney’s D23 Expo has been fascinating. We saw sneak peeks of new stuff like Skeleton Crew, Agatha All Along, Mufasa: The Lion King, and Moana 2. Also, Disney showed us the first look at Percy Jackson season 2. This second season will be based on the second book in the series, “The Sea of Monsters.”

The sneak peek doesn’t reveal many new scenes, but it captures the vibe of the upcoming adventure. It’s a bummer that we must wait until 2025 for the new season, but knowing that Percy is all set to explore the Sea of Monsters has got us super pumped! But before we dust off our swords, scroll down and hit play on the teaser below.

NEW KEY ART POSTER

If you weren’t already excited about the new season, Disney just released a new poster that will definitely get you hyped. The poster shows the Camp Half-Blood banner torn and left on a beach, with a massive storm in the background. Could this mean that Percy and his friends are in for a challenging adventure? You should take a look and decide for yourself!

THE SERIES

The following season needs to step it up to top the show’s first few episodes. In our awesome review of the season opener, our guy Thomas Storai mentioned: “Percy Jackson and the Olympians is off to a fantastic start. The series takes its time to develop the story and the characters properly. This one is a faithful adaptation of the original novel! Walker Scobell is amazing, as is Percy Jackson; he was the right choice for the role. And Leah Jeffries is equally as good as Annabeth.”

RELEASE

It’s a bit disappointing that Disney hasn’t locked in the release date for the second season yet. However, the poster confirms that the series will come out in 2025. So, fans can at least rest easy knowing that new episodes are coming next year. The big question is whether the latest Sea of Monsters adaptation will stay true to the book. We’ll have to wait until 2025 to find out.

In the meantime, check out the first season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians, which is now streaming exclusively on Disney Plus.
