Inspired by Jules Verne’s Twenty Thousand Leagues Under The Sea, Nautilus will launch on Prime Video on October 25th.
Prime Video will exclusively launch Nautilus in the UK and Ireland. The 10-episode live-action series inspired by Jules Verne’s Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, will launch exclusively on Prime Video in the UK and Ireland on Friday 25th October, 2024.
Nautilus tells the origin story of Captain Nemo: an Indian Prince robbed of his birthright and family, joining him as he steals a formidable prototype submarine and escapes into the Indian Ocean with a ragtag crew, determined to enact revenge against the ruthless East India Mercantile Company.

Nautilus stars Shazad Latif. Georgia Flood. Thierry Fremont and Céline Menville, with guest appearances from Richard E Grant. Anna Torv and Noah Taylor. Xavier Marchand of Moonriver TV and Anand Tucker of Seven Stories created and produced the series. James Dormer is the writer and executive producer. Johanna Devereaux, Chris Loveall, Colleen Woodcock, and Daisy Gilbert also serve as executive producers. Cameron Welsh serves as producer and Michael Matthews as the lead director of this epic adventure series. Subsequent episodes were directed by Ben C. Lucas and Isabelle Sieb.
Prime Video secured rights for Nautilus in the UK and Ireland through an exclusive deal with Disney Entertainment. “Nautilus” is distributed by Disney Entertainment and is available on Prime Video in the UK and Ireland. Prime Video acknowledges the support from the Australian Government’s Location Incentive. And from the Queensland Government via Screen Queensland’s Production Attraction Strategy.
