The end of the Dragon Ball saga will be available with subtitles from 3rd September.
Crunchyroll, the ultimate home for anime worldwide, is closing the book on the Dragon Ball saga, bringing the final part Dragon Ball Z Kai to the streaming platform on 3rd September. Episodes 99 – 167 will be available to watch with subtitles. Fans can watch the first half of the series on Crunchyroll now and follow the journey of Son Goku as he gathers the Dragon Balls, and saves the world, one last time.
Dragon Ball Z Kai is a newly “edited” version of the Dragon Ball Z TV series. The original footage of the series has been remastered on HD and the story has also been edited. Hence the use of the word “Kai” that means “update” in Japanese. The broadcast of these new “167 episodes” in Japan was announced by Toei Animation back in 2009.
