The perfect family. The perfect suspects. The Perfect Couple. Based on the book by Elin Hilderbrand, Netflix will be premiering the television series version of The Perfect Couple. The series premieres globally on September 5th. It features an outstanding cast which comprises Nicole Kidman, Liev Schreiber, Meghann Fahy, Eve Hewson, Dakota Fanning, Ishaan Khatter, Billy Howle, and Jack Reynor to name but a few. The mystery drama follows a premiere wedding of the season until a body turns up. The twists, turns, secrets and lies will be revealed over the course of six episodes.
Picture this: Nantucket. Summertime. Beautiful weather. Our heroine is deeply in love and about to marry her ideal man, handsome and from an extremely well-to-do family (in fact, the wealthiest family on the island). But when she wakes up on the morning of her wedding, a body is found floating in the harbor. Instead of attending the wedding of the year, the guests are now all suspects. PREMISE
Amelia Sacks is about to marry into one of the wealthiest families on Nantucket. Her disapproving future mother-in-law, famous novelist Greer Garrison Winbury, has spared no expense in planning what promises to be the premiere wedding of the season — until a body turns up on the beach. As secrets emerge, a real-life investigation unfolds, reminiscent of a storyline from one of Greer’s novels. Suddenly, everyone is a suspect.
