Disney has made a significant change to its release calendar, removing a Star Wars film that was set to debut on December 18, 2026. The studio has not provided details regarding which specific film has been taken off the schedule. The news shouldn’t come as any real surprise after Steven Knight stepped down from his responsibilities as the film’s writer. Therefore, Lucasfilm may be forced to pivot in another direction.

Variety reports that “Ice Age 6” will move into the vacant Star Wars spot.
