A GHASTLY RETURN
Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega) doesn’t have time in her busy schedule to make your eyes bleed — just yet. She’s way too busy hanging out in graveyards. A just-released Season 2 photo proves as much. The eerie image serves as Wednesday’s characteristically twisted method of declaring that the filming for the next season has concluded in Ireland. It will premiere next year.
“This season, Wednesday’s journey is darker and more complex as she navigates family, friends, new mysteries, and old adversaries, propelling her headlong into another year at Nevermore,” showrunners and executive producers Al Gough and Miles Millar tell Tudum.
While the top teen detective at Nevermore Academy appears alone in the chilling image, it’s known that she will be joined by familiar faces. And exciting new characters when Wednesday returns. The series is a sleuthing, supernaturally infused mystery charting Wednesday Addams’ years as a student at Nevermore Academy.
