Exciting news for Fortnite fans! The Halo Master Chief collaboration is making a long-awaited comeback. Get ready for the action!
Some thought it would never happen, but after what has seemed like a lifetime, the Halo Master Chief collaboration is finally returning to Fortnite. Fans had hoped the character would return to the item store to coincide with the release of the live-action series on Paramount+. But sadly, after two gripping seasons, his triumphant return failed to materialize. As a result, Master Chief hasn’t been seen in the item store for nearly 1,000 days. But now, thanks to the new Winterfest season, everything is about to change.
HE’S BACK!
The Master Chief Halo collaboration was recently updated for the item shop rotation during the latest update. This means the skin is now ready for a long-awaited return. Moreover, sources close to Epic Games have confirmed that the set will return as part of Winterfest on December 23rd.

RELEASE
As mentioned above, the set is listed under the Winterfest bracket and WILL feature at some point throughout the festive season. But when that date will be remains a mystery – although the smart money is on December 23rd. Whether or not it comes to fruition remains to be seen. Until then, fans can rest easy knowing they can add Master Chief to their collection within the next few days. And that alone is an early Christmas present.
Rest assured, as soon as we hear more from Epic Games about his official release date, we’ll update the post with all the juicy details. Be sure to hit that subscribe button at the top of the homepage and get the latest Fortnite news and reviews in your inbox!
